Police responding to serious traffic crash at Toowoomba

Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a serious motorcycle crash at Centenary Heights overnight.

Preliminary investigations indicate at around 10pm a motorcycle was travelling north on Amanda Drive when the rider has lost control of the motorcycle on a bend.

The rider, a 24-year-old Toowoomba man, has been airlifted to Brisbane with serious head injuries. The 21-year-old female passenger remains in the Toowoomba Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
