Police are investigating after a one-year-old boy was hit by a vehicle at Brassall this afternoon.
Preliminary information indicates around 3pm, the boy was struck by a truck on Fernvale Road.
The boy sustained head injuries and was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Police believe a small water tank truck may have been involved and are appealing for anyone in the area who may have witnessed the incident or has dash cam vision to come forward.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
