Police search for car after Reservoir armed robbery

Mill Park Serious Crime Taskforce investigators are hoping to identify a car believed to be involved in an armed robbery in Reservoir earlier this month.

Investigators have been told two men attended a milk bar on Spring Street about 3.30pm on Tuesday 7 April.

The men, both with their faces covered and armed with knives, approached the front counter and demanded cash from a staff member.

The victim complied and the men took off with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Investigators believe the men drove away in a white car, believed to be a 1997 – 2002 Subaru Forester with distinctive damage to its rear wheel, westbound on Rona Street towards Gilbert Road.

The first man is perceived to Caucasian in appearance and described as tanned complexion, aged between 18-20 years old, solid build and at least 183cm tall. He was wearing a dark hoodie with a white band across the torso.

The second man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and described as aged in his late teens, thin build and about 175cm tall. He was wearing sports clothing.

Police have released moving CCTV and images of the car in the hope someone may recognise the vehicle and provide information about the car or those involved.
