Police Seek Information After Assault At Parramatta

Police are appealing for public assistance following an assault on the rail network in western Sydney.

Officers attached to Parramatta Police area Command responded to reports of an assault at Parramatta Railway Station that occurred about 2:30pm on Monday 29 June 2026.

Officers were told a 29-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown man who left the scene prior to police arrival. The man did not sustain any significant injuries.

Police attached to the North West Police Transport Command commenced an investigation and have released images of a man who they believe may assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, believed to be aged in his mid-30s and of medium build.

When last seen, he was wearing a black jacket, dark cargo pants, grey shoes and a grey beanie.
