Police Seek Information On Domestic Violence In Darwin 22 February

Northern Territory Police are calling for information after a domestic violence incident last night in Jingili.

Around 10pm, police received reports that a domestic disturbance allegedly occurred between a 34-year-old man and a 33-year-old female at a residence in Jingili. The female received facial injuries and swelling to her eyes.

Two male relatives of the female have allegedly then assaulted the 34-year-old man. During this alleged altercation the 34-year-old suffered multiple stab wounds.

Police attended the scene and the man was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital in a stable condition.

Both relatives have fled the location prior to police arrival and efforts are currently underway to locate them.
