Police seek witnesses, Traffic Crash at Marlborough

Police and the Forensic Crash Unit are appealing for witnesses and dashcam vision following a serious two-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway, south of Marlborough on Sunday night (December 19).

Initial investigations indicate just before 8pm two vehicles, a red 2016 Mazda CX-5 travelling north on the highway, and a grey 2010 Toyota Kluger travelling south, collided.

A 46-year-old Rockhampton woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital.

A 30-year-old woman, 39-year-old man and three-year-old child, all from Bundaberg were also transported to Rockhampton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations suggest a vehicle, not linked to the crash, was in the area at the time with police appealing to the driver to contact them.

Investigators are also appealing for anyone who may have observed either vehicle in the area (pictured below) at the time of the crash or any dashcam footage to come forward.

Investigations continue.
