Police have charged two more teenagers in relation to an attempted armed robbery at Coorparoo earlier this week.
It will be alleged around 10:20pm on September 27, a 37-year-old woman was parked in a vehicle on Temple Street before a grey Volkswagen Passat drove up and parked in front of the woman.
A group of four teenagers emerged from the vehicle, with one member allegedly producing a knife, and attempted to enter the woman’s vehicle.
The group was unable to gain entry to the vehicle and fled the scene in the Volkswagen towards Bennetts Road.
The woman was not physically harmed in the incident.
Yesterday afternoon, September 30, police attend an address in Bellbird Park and located a third teenage boy. The fourth boy was located this afternoon at Ipswich.
The two 16-year-old Goodna boys have both been charged with three counts of armed robbery, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and a further two counts each of burglary and attempted enter dwelling offences.
One of the boys will reappear in Brisbane Childrens Court on October 7. The other boy will appear in the Ipswich Childrens Court on Monday, October 3.
This follows the charging of a 14-year-old boy on September 28 and a 17-year-old boy on September 30.
