A 56-year-old Newtown man, who was the rider of a motorbike involved in a serious crash at Harristown on June 18, has passed away from his injuries in hospital.
Following medical treatment in relation to the crash, the rider passed away at Princess Alexandra Hospital on Tuesday night, July 2.
Initial investigations indicated that around 3.55pm, a Mitsubishi Pajero travelling southbound along West Street and a Triumph motorcycle travelling northbound along West Street crashed at the intersection of South Street.
The driver of the Pajero, a woman in her 20s, was transported to Toowoomba Hospital for assessment.
The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing their investigations into the circumstances of the crash.
