The Property Council of Australia today congratulated Peter Dutton and Sussan Ley on their election as Leader and Deputy Leader of the Federal Parliamentary Liberal Party, and David Littleproud and Perin Davey on their election as Leader and Deputy Leader of the Federal Parliamentary National Party.
Property Council of Australia Chief Executive Ken Morrison said the organisation looked forward to working closely with the newly elected leaders of the federal Coalition.
“We congratulate Mr Dutton, Ms Ley, Mr Littleproud and Mr Davey on their election as leaders of their party rooms,” he said.
“We have worked closely with the federal coalition over many years and look forward to engaging with them on the important policy issues facing Australia.
“On behalf of the Property Council, I thank former party leaders Scott Morrison, Barnaby Joyce and Josh Frydenberg for their contribution to the nation, especially in dealing with the enormous difficulties posed by the global pandemic.
“With votes still being counted in some seats, we look forward to working with all federal parliamentarians in the newly formed federal Parliament.”
