Proposed road closing – Portion of Cole Street, Klemzig

Proposed closure of portion of Cole Street, Klemzig

Council proposes to close portion of Cole Street, Klemzig located next to 22 Boucaut Avenue, Klemzig.

Although the land is a public road, it is currently not used as a road and there is no future requirement for any road connection in this location. It is therefore considered excess to Council’s needs and has been declared surplus to Council’s requirements in accordance with Council’s Policy for ‘Sale and Disposal of Land and Other Assets’ (CS09) (11 August 2015). Once the section of road is closed, consideration will be given to selling the closed road land for other uses such as housing development.

The area proposed for closure is outlined in yellow on the locality map below.
