Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to a fire at Kingston.
Around 3.05pm, police and emergency services were called to Adelaide Street following reports of a home being fully engulfed.
The PSPA was declared shortly after at 3.10pm, with the exclusion zone bordered by Adelaide Road, Augustus Street, Hope Street and Clare Road.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area and those within the exclusion zone are asked to remain indoors until further notice.
