Public Exhibition of Draft Operational Plan 2019/2020

Hawkesbury City Council’s Draft Operational Plan 2019/2020 is currently on public exhibition until Friday, 17 May 2019.

The Draft Operational Plan 2019/2020 outlines the proposed projects, programs and activities for 2019/2020. It also includes information about rates, fees and charges, estimated income and expenditure and the capital works program for 2019/2020.

The Plan is available for view and comment at Council’s community engagement website, Your Hawkesbury – Your Say. The ‘Your Say’ site can also be reached from Council’s homepage. Hard copies of the Draft Operational Plan can be viewed at Council’s Administration Building at 366 George Street, Windsor.

The Draft Operational Plan has been placed on the Your Hawkesbury – Your Say site to make it easier for residents to access and comment on the Plan.

Council welcomes comments from community members on the Plan, the Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Barry Calvert said.

“We encourage as many people as possible to take some time to find out about Council’s budget and the projects planned for the year ahead,” the Mayor said.

“The Draft Operational Plan 2019/2020 clearly states the proposed projects and programs to be undertaken during 2019/2020.

“Accessing Your Hawkesbury – Your Say through Council’s website is a convenient way to have some input at anytime from anywhere.

“Council will take your comments into account as part of the Draft Operational Plan consultation process,” Councillor Calvert said.

“However you choose to make a submission, whether by mail, email or online, we want to ensure that everyone has the chance to comment before the closing date on Friday, 17 May 2019.”
