Pursuit Brahma Lodge, South Australia

A police car and fence was damaged while a man fled police at Brahma Lodge early this morning.

Just after 2.15am on Saturday 6 October police were called to a home on Main North Road for a noise complaint.

A patrol spoke to an occupant of the home. A man at the house saw police and got into a Black Audi the man drove toward a gate knocking it of it hinges into the patrol car. No-one was in the patrol car at the time, the car sustained minor damage.

The driver couldn’t through the gate so he drove at a colourbond fence a number of times knocking it over before driving off.

A second patrol saw the Audi on Main North Road and attempted to stop the car, the driver refused to stop and the car was pursued. The manner of driver was dangerous and the pursuit was terminated for safety.

The car was last seen near John Rice Avenue.

Police know the identity of the driver and are following positive lines of enquiry.
