Queensland Police and Emergency Services Games at Sunshine Coast

The Sunshine Coast will this year play host to the surfing event of the Queensland Police and Emergency Services Games, with employees from 15 different agencies set to do battle at the Bluff in Alexandra Headland.

The Games are made up of 24 sports which will be staged at various locations in South East Queensland from October 8-13, and is open to current members of police and emergency service agencies, former employees and their families.

The surfing event kicks off on Tuesday, October 8 at the Bluff and will feature a variety of disciplines of shortboard, longboard, body board, knee board, and stand up paddle boarding (SUP) in open and age groups in 17 events.

Competition will commence at 7am each day with finals being held on Wednesday.

The event is being hosted by the Alexandra Headland Malibu Club who have provided valuable advice, support, and expertise in the running of the competition.
