Riverside Vibes returns for its second year

After a hugely successful event last year, AlburyCity’s art and cultural festival Riverside Vibes is heading back to the Noreuil Park Foreshore on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April 2023.

The concept for the event came about from a desire to highlight our city’s beautiful riverside precinct, parks, facilities and sculpture trails, and celebrate our rich creative arts and cultural community.

AlburyCity engaged local curators Duryanne Streat and Michelle Fraccaro to assist in developing an exciting program for this year’s event, which will showcase local, national and international performers and artists.

There will be two stages featuring live music and entertainment, unforgettable cultural performances from locals and community groups, a Maker’s Market, creative workshops for the whole family, a dedicated Kid’s Zone, roving entertainment, delicious food trucks featuring local breweries and wineries, and some very exciting new and magical experiences!

AlburyCity Mayor Kylie King encouraged the community to come down and enjoy a fun weekend by the river.

“Gather your friends and family and head down to soak up the live music, cruise the markets and stock up on locally made goodies, and fill up on yummy food and drink,” Mayor King said.

The free event runs from 12pm-9pm on Saturday, and 10am-2pm on Sunday, with nearby parking available at Oddies Creek, Albury Swim Centre, along Hovell Tree Park, Australia Park and Gateway Lakes.

Riverside Vibes is proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Reconnection Regional NSW Community Events Program.

The full event program is available on the AlburyCity website.
