Yarra City Council
At the Council meeting held on Tuesday the 8th of July at Fitzroy Town Hall, after considering the results of the community consultation on the matter, Council resolved to assign the name “Barrawang Lane” to the laneway adjacent to 2 Fenwick Street and 88A Ramsden Street, Clifton Hill.
In considering this naming proposal, Council has been be guided by its own policy and the State Government’s Guidelines for Geographic Names.
The naming proposal will be submitted to the Registrar of Geographic Names for consideration and inclusion in VICNAMES.
