Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding an incident that occurred in Merivale (Esperance) on Thursday, 16 November 2023.
About 5.10pm, a white Toyota Hilux was travelling east along Fisheries Road, through a road work zone, when the vehicle struck a road worker.
The road worker, a 47-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and was conveyed to hospital. Sadly he died in hospital 12 days later.
