Seeking stories of connection in time of coronavirus

Wendy Wolford, Cornell’s vice provost for international affairs, and her office have issued a global call “for stories of caring and compassion.” They are seeking positive, short submissions from across the Cornell community that show compassion, caring and connection during the coronavirus pandemic.

In these stressful and challenging times, “we are better together,” the call for submissions notes. “People around the world are finding ways to connect, care for one another and show compassion. Share your inspiring story with us so we can share it with the world – building bridges, not borders.”

They are seeking, in anything from 10 to 200 words, a description of an event, moment, act or relationship that touched you, demonstrating the power of human connection, even in this time of the coronavirus and social distancing. Images are welcome.
