Pennsylvania is set to join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), a multi-state compact to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the electric power grid. The commonwealth hosts one of the largest and most diverse power generation fleets in the country, and its decision to join RGGI will affect electricity provision across many states in the region.
