Service station robbery at Salisbury, South Australia

Police are investigating a robbery at a Salisbury service station in the early hours of this morning.

About 5.15am on Monday 28 June, a man wearing a balaclava entered the service station on Park Terrace, Salisbury and threatened the attendant with a knife. He stolen cash, cigarettes and chocolate bars before leaving on foot towards Cross Keys Road.

Fortunately, the staff member was not physically injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as of Caucasian appearance, 170 cm tall, very heavy build, wearing a black hoodie with “Lonsdale” written in white on one of the sleeves and blue jeans.

Police searched the area but have not yet located the offender.
