Single vehicle crash in Thomastown

Police and emergency services attended a single vehicle crash at Thomastown yesterday evening (9 March) which has left a man with critical injuries.

It is believed a white Mitsubishi Triton ute was travelling south along the Hume Highway about 8.20pm when the driver lost control causing the vehicle to roll a number of times.

The male driver and sole occupant, a 19-year-old Wandong man, was ejected from the vehicle and sustained life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to hospital for treatment.

The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
