Staff member issued with notice to appear in Road Policing and Regional Support Command, QLD

A 30-year-old male staff member for the Road Policing and Regional Support Command has been served with a notice to appear for allegedly inappropriately disclosing information.

The employee has been suspended from duty with the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow on eight counts of unauthorised disclosure pursuant to Section 10.2 Police Service Administration Act 1990.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer or staff member faces serious allegations of misconduct.
