Staff member issued with notice to appear in Road Policing and Regional Support Command, QLD

A 46-year-old female staff member for the Road Policing and Regional Support Command has been served with a notice to appear for one count of unlawful stalking (domestic violence offence), two charges of Computer Hacking (gain benefit) and two charges of Computer Hacking (simpliciter) of the Criminal Code.

Between 2021 and 2023 the employee allegedly accessed information on the Queensland Police Service system and released the information to a domestic violence (DV) respondent.

The DV respondent has then used the information to stalk a DV aggrieved.

It will be further alleged the DV respondent paid the subject member for the information.

The employee has been suspended from the QPS and is not currently in the workplace.

They are expected to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow April 12, 2024.

Staff member issued with notice to appear in Road Policing and Regional Support Command, QLD

A 30-year-old male staff member for the Road Policing and Regional Support Command has been served with a notice to appear for allegedly inappropriately disclosing information.

The employee has been suspended from duty with the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow on eight counts of unauthorised disclosure pursuant to Section 10.2 Police Service Administration Act 1990.
