A white Holden Commodore station wagon, captured on CCTV, has been linked to a shooting incident at Burton last month.
Detectives from Crime Gangs Task Force and Northern District CIB are investigating shots fired at a house in Claxton Way, Burton just after 9pm on Saturday 23 July.
Damage was caused to the front of the premises and to a vehicle parked in the driveway, however, the occupant of the house and members of his family, who were home at the time, were not injured.
A vehicle of interest has been identified, namely a white 2002 to 2005 VY or VZ Holden Commodore station wagon with black rims.

The shooting is not considered to be a random incident and Crime Gang Task Force detectives are investigating links with outlaw motorcycle gangs.
Detective Chief Inspector David Huddy, Serious and Organised Crime Branch, said, “Police are aware of an escalation in tension between two outlaw motorcycle gangs at the time of the offence and believe this incident is linked to that tension. While no-one was injured on this occasion and the incident is not believed to be random, police are acutely aware of the risks to public safety of this type of incident.
“Crime Gangs Task Force are coordinately resources to investigate this incident and will do everything possible to ensure anyone involved is held to account for their reckless, irresponsible and dangerous actions.”
