Narrandera Shire Council, with consultants Moduplay Group, developed two concept designs for a playground located near the Narrandera Water Tower on Watermain Street. A community consultation held 3 May 2023 had members of the community express their preference between concepts. At the May Council meeting, Council resolved to adopt the preferred concept designs.
Further to the resolution in May, the equipment has been procured, with Moduplay awarded the contract for installation of the Water Tower Playground.
The new playground will feature state-of-the-art equipment that is not only fun but also safe for children of all ages. Narrandera Shire Council are excited about the new playground, which will provide a place for families to play and create new memories together.

Installation is estimated to begin in Spring and completion is estimated in December 2023.
