Teenager dies after single vehicle crash in Roxburgh Park

A teenager has died in hospital following a single vehicle crash in Roxburgh Park last week.

The 15-year-old boy, who was believed to be the driver of the car, was travelling along Roxburgh Park Drive when the car mounted the curb and struck a tree on Wednesday 8 December just after 6.30pm.

All five male passengers in the Holden Commodore station wagon, aged 14 and 15-years-old, were treated for non- life-threatening injuries.

Fawkner Highway Patrol are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and will prepare a report for the Coroner.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
