Theft of phone at chocolate factory

Frankston Police are investigating after a theft at a Phillip Island chocolate factory on 21 June.

It is understood a young girl placed the phone on a counter at the Phillip Island Road premises about 11am and walked away.

Shortly afterwards a man picked up the mobile phone, placed it in his jacket pocket and left the factory.

The offender is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and aged in his 30s.

The man was in the company of a female child.

Police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
