Arson and Explosives Squad detectives have located a third body in the remains of the fatal house fire in Point Cook.
The body of an infant, along with two adults, were located inside the Totem Way property.
The trio are yet to be formally identified.
Police are still yet to establish the exact cause of the fire, however they are treating it as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to the property following reports of a house fire which had spread to nearby residences about 3.40am.
The townhouse was destroyed by the blaze and two neighbouring properties were also damaged.
Arson chemists are continuing to forensically examine the property and the investigation remains ongoing.
