Darebin Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fire in Thornbury this morning.
Emergency services were called to a fire at two adjoining businesses on St Georges Road about 1.30am.
No one was inside the building at the time of the incident.
Both businesses were destroyed in the fire.
Detectives are working to establish the exact circumstances and determine the cause of the fire.
