Three teens issued traffic infringements at Albury, NSW

Three teenagers have been issued with traffic infringements after they were allegedly caught speeding in the state’s Murray River region overnight.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District Highway Patrol were conducting stationary speed enforcement when they detected three vehicles speeding along Table Top Road, Thurgoona, about 11.20pm (Thursday 23 December 2021).

It will be alleged the vehicles were clocked at speeds between 125km/h and 135km/h in a 60km/h signposted area.

Officers pulled over the three provisional drivers – two 17-year-old girls and an 18-year-old man – who were all issued with infringement notices for exceed speed over 45km/h.

Their licences were suspended for six months.
