The Victorian Electoral Commission has announced Troy Bailey as the successful candidate in this morning’s countback to fill the vacancy created following the resignation of Cr Cyndi Power last month.
Mildura Mayor Liam Wood congratulated Mr Bailey who, once he formally declares he is still qualified to be a Councillor, will be sworn in at this month’s Ordinary Council meeting on Thursday, 28 April.
“On behalf of my fellow Councillors and our staff, I’d like to welcome Mr Bailey as part of our team and look forward to working with him to continue representing our community and delivering positive outcomes for our residents.”
