Motorists are asked to avoid SH5 near Tarawera. A truck has crashed and rolled, causing the road to be blocked.
The crash site is approximately 50km out of Napier, heading to Taupo.
Police are enroute to the scene, so we are unable to give an update on injury status, however initial reports show that there are no injuries.
It appears to be a single vehicle crash.
