Tickets for on-street paid parking in the Midland CBD will now provide the first two hours of parking free.
The change will enable customers to visit the area to carry out their business for longer, without having to pay. This is an extension of the one hour free parking in this area.
A fee will still apply for those wishing to use the on-street parking bays for longer than two hours, to discourage all-day parkers from taking up bays outside local businesses.
Normal parking machines and payment methods will be available, but if you are looking to manage your parking payments more easily, try the EasyPark app.
