Police are on scene at a unit fire which occurred in Margate this morning.
Emergency services were called to a complex on Disraeli Street around 3.45am where they observed a unit engulfed in flames.
A 64-year-old man was extracted from the premises and transported Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Police have declared a crime scene and investigations are continuing.
