Detectives from the Smithfield Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) have today charged a 60-year-old man Holloways Beach man following an alleged assault at Holloways Beach on May 17.
It will be alleged police were called to a disturbance around 5:30pm on Alamanda Street and again at around 9:30pm.
A 60-year-old Holloways Beach man was charged with two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of unlawful stalking.
He was issued with a Notice to Appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on September 16.
On July 18, a 66-year-old Holloways Beach man was charged with one count of going armed to cause fear.
He appeared in the Cairns Magistrates Court on August 8.
