Police have revoked an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) for Helen Street, in Gympie.
A man has been taken into custody without further incident and is assisting police with inquires.
The PSPA was revoked at 6.07pm.
The PSPA had been declared earlier after a man barricaded himself inside a home.
Investigations remain ongoing.
