Motorists are advised to allow plenty of extra travel time northbound on the M7 this afternoon due to a truck breakdown at Glendenning.
One of two northbound lanes is closed just past Power Street and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h is in place in the area.
Northbound traffic is currently queued back over 8kms to the M4.
Traffic crews are on site and a heavy tow is attending.
