As stated by Attorney General John Quigley:

“I reconvened this group in 2020 as part of the Government’s ongoing commitment to victims of crime.

“My intention was to make the panel an effective voice for those who have been unfortunate enough to be affected by particularly serious crimes.

“The State Cabinet has since agreed to increase and diversify the membership to help ensure the Government continues considering the needs, concerns and ideas of crime victims.

“I would like to thank all members for contributing their time, energy and enthusiasm, to this important initiative, particularly those who have overcome significant personal trauma to do so.”
