Western Australia coronovirus update as at 30 April 2021

The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 overnight.

A male in his 30s having returned from overseas travel and in hotel quarantine.

The State’s total number now stands at 999.

WA Health is monitoring 28 active cases of COVID-19 and 962 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

To date, the WA Department of Health has administered 96,508 COVID-19 vaccinations, including 22,879 people who have received both doses. Yesterday, 2497 people were vaccinated.

Yesterday, 775 were tested at WA Health COVID clinics. In addition, 2124 people were also tested at private pathology clinics. Since the lockdown was announced last Friday, 53,623 people have been tested across Western Australia.
