WA Health is reporting no new cases of COVID-19 overnight.
The State’s total remains at 1112. To date, 1100 people have recovered from the virus in WA.
As of last night, WA Health was monitoring three active COVID-19 cases, including two people who are in hotel quarantine and one in Fiona Stanley Hospital from the vessel MV Stolt Sakura.
WA Health continues to monitor the situation in Tasmania after a man in his 30s, who breached quarantine, tested positive for COVID-19.
Western Australians who have been at a listed venue at the specified times needs to self-quarantine for 14 days and be tested within 48 hours and at day 12.
Testing clinics
Yesterday, 386 people were swabbed at State-run clinics. To date, there have been 1,830,450 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those, 212,691 were in regional WA.

COVID-19 vaccinations*
Yesterday, 21,043 COVID-19 vaccine doses were recorded in WA – 11,355 of these were second doses. The total includes 5441 historic COVID-19 vaccine doses*. These figures represent COVID-19 vaccinations at State-run clinics and doses given as part of the Commonwealth rollout**.

An Aboriginal Family Day will be held at the Armadale clinic on Saturday, October 23, where all Aboriginal people aged 12 years and above will be welcomed to the clinic with a Welcome to Country, food and other activities provided. Aboriginal people can attend from 10am to 4.30pm.

- New clinics opened yesterday at Armadale Central Shopping Centre and The Square, Mirrabooka (appointments are preferred but not required)
- A new clinic at Perth Airport for FIFO workers.
- Drop-in appointments are available for everyone aged 12 years and over at the Claremont and Joondalup COVID-19 vaccination community clinics.
- Drop-in community clinics are available for young people aged 16 years and over (year 11 and 12) and school staff (external site).
- Western Australian children aged 12 to 15 years are eligible for a Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination (external site). Parents and guardians are encouraged to visit rollup.wa.gov.au (external site) to register and book appointments for their children in this age group.
