WA Health is reporting a total of 9,314 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 41,338 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 248 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 9 in ICU.
Today’s report includes two historical deaths, a woman in her 60’s and a man in his 30s dating back to the 5th April, both were reported to WA Health yesterday.

Of the 9,314 cases, 4,001 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 5,313 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 12,816 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 320,777 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
