WA Health is reporting a total of 8,117 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 43,433 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 233 people with COVID-19 in hospital, four in ICU.
Today’s report sadly includes two historical deaths, including a man over 100 and a woman in her 80s dating back to April 26 that were reported to WA Health yesterday.

Of the 8,117 cases, 3,870 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 4,247 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 11,951 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 380,409 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
