Western suburbs clan lab found – man arrested, South Australia

A man has been arrested following the discovery of an illicit drug lab at Brompton.

Just after 5.30pm on Saturday 18 January, police attended a house in Blight Street and carried out a search uncovering a clandestine laboratory.

A 39-year-old man from Brompton was arrested at the scene and is expected to be charged with manufacturing a controlled drug.

Police will remain at the scene overnight while specialist officers will attend the property tomorrow to continue the investigation.

– persons carrying laboratory glassware into the premises

– extensive and excessive security systems

– frequent visitors to premises who only stay for short periods of time

– chemical smells

– chemical/fertiliser/empty pill/capsule containers in rubbish

– pool cleaning equipment when there is no swimming pool
