Police have charged a woman following an investigation into an alleged home invasion at Muswellbrook last month.
About 2.20pm on Thursday 6 April 2023, an allegedly stolen key card was used at a service station on Arthur Street, Wellington.
Police allege that the key card was stolen during a reported home invasion on Forbes Street, Muswellbrook, on Saturday 4 March 2023.
Following inquiries, a 29-year-old woman was arrested at a property on Hawkins Street, Wellington, about 4.30pm on Wednesday 12 April 2023.
She was taken to Wellington Police Station where she was charged with two counts of dishonestly obtain property by deception, and receive property-theft=serious indictable offence.
She first appeared before Dubbo Local Court yesterday (Thursday 13 April 2023) where she was formally refused bail to appear before the same court on Wednesday 24 May 2023.
