The Miles Government’s Women in Manufacturing Strategy has joined forces with the Brisbane Broncos to encourage more women into an exciting and fulfilling career in advanced manufacturing.
The partnership will mean the unmissable fluorescent pink signs will be displayed at all Broncos home games through the 2024 season, shown to on-ground spectators and the broadcast audience of approximately 6.5 million viewers each season.
In addition to the signage, Broncos ambassadors Ali Brigginshaw, Scott Prince, Justin Hodges and Darius Boyd will promote the WIM Strategy and manufacturing careers with students through the Beyond the Broncos Programs.
The Broncos partnership builds on the success of the continuing sponsorship with the Gold Coast Titans Women’s team, which ran throughout the 2023 season.
This is part of the Women in Manufacturing Strategy, launched by the Queensland Government on International Women’s Day last year to attract and retain more women into traditionally male-dominated roles in manufacturing.
