Wounding and fire at Grange

Police are investigating following an incident in Grange this morning (February 2).

Emergency crews were called to an Inglis Street home just before 5.30 when they located a small fire and a man with an apparent stab wound.

The fire was extinguished a short time later and the man was transported to hospital with critical injuries.

A crime scene was declared and woman, who is known to the man, is assisting police with their inquiries.

The investigation is continuing.
