A 36 year old woman and a 20 year old man, both from New Norfolk, have been arrested and charged with Wounding following an incident at Henry Crescent, New Norfolk, around midday today.
At 12:30pm, police responded to a report of a disturbance at Henry Crescent, New Norfolk, where a 47 year old New Norfolk man was assaulted with a weapon and had received an injury to his head.
Police located the pair at their home address, where they were arrested and later charged with Wounding. The weapon used in the assault was located and seized by police.
The victim received non-life threatening injuries.
