Wyndham City’s return of online services

Following the State Government’s decision to reimplement Stage 3 Covid-19 restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne, Wyndham City is changing the way it delivers some services.

Wyndham City Mayor Cr Josh Gilligan said Wyndham City supported the decision, given the spike in positive cases across the state.

After months of hard work by the community, adhering to public health messages, the past fortnight has seen sizeable growth in the number of active cases in our community,” Cr Gilligan said.

“The health of our community is paramount, and hopefully a return to stage three restrictions will help us in flattening the curve again. A number of testing sites are now open in Wyndham, including a new one in Tarneit, we continue to encourage anyone with symptoms to get tested”

“There will be some changes to service offerings to the community to ensure we comply with restrictions, however, we are still here for you. A large number of our services have been modified and will be provided virtually and in a Covid safe way.”

“Of course, we will continue to deliver services, programs, information and events online through our digital platforms.”

“You can continue to access customer service via phone, webchat and online.”

“Our library delivery service will continue, so you’re able to access library materials, delivered to your door.”

“I encourage you to take advantage of our online library where you can borrow e-books, e-magazines and even stream movies.”

“In line with the advice of State Government agencies, kindergarten services will continue onsite, as will immunisation, maternal and child health services for families.”

“In addition to this, our aged and disability care support services on online youth counselling will also continue to ensure that the most vulnerable members of our community aren’t left behind.”

“Council will continue to provide the on call at home hard and green waste service and residence can exchange their tip voucher for a hard and green waste service during the lockdown period if you want to avoid going to the refuse disposal facility.”

“Stay up to date on the latest activities, experiences and services by going to www.wyndham.vic.gov.au
