Your Town – launched at North Richmond

Hawkesbury City Council proudly held its Town Meeting Launch this week at North Richmond with around 60 community members attending, as well as the Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Barry Calvert, Councillors and Council staff.

“Our first Town Meeting for 2019 was a great opportunity to meet with our community in and around North Richmond,” the Mayor said.

“It gave us the chance to share how Council is working with the community in many different ways.”

“We also had a Customer Services officer attend on the night, logging customer requests on the spot. A number of people found this service very helpful.”

The Town Meeting included presentations about Council projects as well as community sponsorship and event sponsorship. Council staff also explained how community members can:

  • go online to log customer requests using Council’s online forms
  • use Council’s online engagement tool ‘Your Hawkesbury Your Say’ to comment on current projects
  • visit Council’s website and click on ‘We Are Building Hawkesbury’s Future’ to see Council’s current projects as well as completed projects.

A Council video presentation also showcased the works that Council has been doing across the Hawkesbury.
