Youth Invited to Unlock Their Potential at Positive Peace Workshop

Leeton Shire Council is delighted to invite young individuals aged 18-25 to participate in the upcoming Positive Peace Workshop taking place from 21 – 22 February 2024 at the Leeton Visitor Information Centre. Proudly brought to you by Western Sydney University, the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), and Multicultural NSW, this unique event aims to empower the youth in Leeton Shire by fostering conditions for social harmony, economic development, and mutual understanding.

What’s in Store for You:

  • Learn the skills to design a community project with real impact. The best project will receive funding from Western Sydney University to undertake the project!
  • Acquire practical skills and knowledge that will enhance your career prospects and contribute to your personal growth.
  • Network with like-minded changemakers who are committed to building a brighter future.

Council’s Multicultural Advisor Ken Dachi is thrilled to be part of an initiative that empowers our young residents to make a positive impact in their community.
