300,000 litres of water stolen at Bathurst, NSW

Police are appealing for information after 300,000 litres of water was reported stolen from a property in the state’s Central Tablelands.

On Sunday 15 December 2019, police received reports from a property owner at Evans Plains, approximately 10km south west of Bathurst, that a significant quantity of water was missing from two tanks on his property.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District commenced enquiries into the matter.

Police wish to speak with anyone who saw water trucks or vehicles fitted with equipment/ability to cart water in the Evans Plains area between the Monday 9 December 2019 and Sunday 15 December 2019 to contact Bathurst Police Station.
